“Best movie” and audience award at the Ahrenshooper film festival (Germany)
On the opening weekend almost 6,000 moviegoers saw the debut film The Best of All Worlds by the Salzburg director Adrian Goiginger so that, including previews and screening at several summer open air cinemas, it has now been seen by nearly 10,000 people. The film has been released in about 40 cinemas all over Austria.
Producer Wolfgang Ritzberger (RitzlFilm): “The impression we got at the festivals and previews in the Austrian provinces has proved correct: Audiences both at the festivals and in the regular screenings seem to like the movie, and 6,000 visitors on the first weekend is a wonderful success for all of us.”
Only last weekend the film was awarded the audience award and the best movie award at the Ahrenshooper film festival in Northern Germany. Two weeks ago it won the youth jury prize at the regional movie festival Neues Heimatfilmfestival Freistadt. “We would like to thank our audience and we are delighted that the huge support we received from the media and cinema operators during the movie start has made such a great contribution to this result.”
