Verena Altenberger is an Austrian actress and speaker. In “The Best of All Worlds”, she plays the drug-addicted, yet loving mother Helga Wachter.
She has received countless awards for Best of All Worlds, including: the Acting Award at the Diagonale 2017, the Best Young Actress Award at the Byrian Film Award 2017 and the Austrian Film Award 2018 in the category Best Female Actress.
However, she shines not only on the cinema screen, but also on the stages of Austria. She most recently played the Buhlschaft at the Salzburg Festival in 2021.
