Cooperation Special Events
You would like to show THE BEST OF ALL WORLDS as part of your own event — a discussion evening, a conference, a screening for your team or your organisation. Here is what is possible, what it takes, and where the limits are.
Who is this for?
So far we have been approached above all by addiction support and social work organisations, youth centres, parents’ associations, municipalities, trade unions and adult education centres. What they have in common is an audience that wants to talk about what it has just seen.
The film works well as a basis for discussion because it is built on the director’s own factual account: Adrian Goiginger portrays life in his family and its surroundings in images that are moving and realistic at the same time.
What formats are there?
Public panel discussion
A discussion hosted by you, to which the director, the producer and/or members of the crew can be invited subject to availability. You decide on moderation and further guests.
Closed event
You book cinema and film for your own audience — training day, company event, members’ evening.
Morning screenings for schools
For school classes, with their own structure and teaching material. Details on the Cinema in Schools page.
Who attends the event?
Producer Wolfgang Ritzberger comes in person. He also works as a media trainer for the non-profit organisation Digitaler Kompass, visiting around sixty schools a year, and has been moderating discussions with audiences for years. So you are not getting a guest for the opening remarks, but someone who can carry a discussion even when it gets uncomfortable.
Director Adrian Goiginger and members of the crew subject to availability. When you enquire we will tell you honestly who realistically has time — one firm commitment is worth more than three vague ones.
What does a special event cost?
It depends on whether the event is public or closed, whether admission is charged, how large the audience is and whether one of us travels to you. Tell us those four things and you will get a concrete figure — not “on request”, but an answer with a number in it.
Money should not be the reason it fails. Initiatives and organisations that reach exactly the audience this film is about often have no budget at all. Say so and we will find a way. So far no event has failed because of it.
Which topics can be built on it?
- Alcohol and drugs, drug prevention
- Addiction, behavioural addiction
- Depression, emptiness, fear
- Childhood, imagination, faith
- Teenage pregnancy, single parenthood
- Family, parenthood, responsibility
- Society, marginalised groups, isolation
Is the film appropriate for our audience?
The film is officially rated for audiences aged 14 and over; the Youth Media Commission recommends it from 16 as “highly recommended as a drama on the subject of addiction and drug problems”.
It shows drug use without trivialising it and without putting it on display. If your audience includes people with their own experience of addiction or relatives of those affected — and with this subject they usually do — plan the discussion afterwards and make sure a specialist is present who can be approached.
Which version do we get?
The German original version, plus subtitled versions in several languages, among them English, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Korean.
We adapt the delivery to your venue: streaming link, file or cinema print. Tell us what your venue can play and we will sort it out in advance rather than on the night.
How does an enquiry work?
Write to us with the occasion, the venue, your preferred date, the expected size of the audience and whether the event is public or closed. You will get concrete information on availability and cost — not a call-back form, but an answer.
